Jonathan Campos, user group manager of D-Flex.org, is an enthusiastic Flex user that has worked with the Adobe's Flex technology for a variety of small to mid-sized companies. Having worked on an array of different Flex projects Jonathan has had to learn Flex "in the field" as he created a diverse portfolio of Flex based programs for both the web and AIR applications. Jonathan's experience lies in application planning and development, programming, and the integration of Flex with multiple different server side technologies. Jonathan is excited to do anything he can to grow the Dallas Technology Industry and have a great time while doing it.

The Flying Saucer in Addison might be a good place to have a happy hour. They have rooms with darts and stuff. Just don’t do it on a Friday, because it’s too crowded. The only drawback is they only server wine and beer…about 250 different varieties, though.

Also, the Londoner off Midway is a good place…good beer. You see where I’m going with this…

Addison is a good spot..

Flying Saucer is ok, but I’m not a fan…
Londoner is a great spot, but not sure if it’ll support the numbers (how many ppl generally show up?).

Otherwise, what about going back to the first spot (name escapes me for some odd reason).

Republic Las Colinas would be cool. It’s in Las Colinas and I assume a lot of techies are in the area..

I’d recommend Los Lupes in Addison – ask for Jose and ask for the Hacienda room. They can accomodate large parties and they have good specials.

I’m interested in hosting a Dallas Tech Happy Hour at Jakes in Addison. Happy hour specials include $2 U-call it any Beer, $2 cosmos & Appletinis, $3 U-call Prem (includes Ketel One Vodka) cocktails. Mon-Fri 4-7pm. Jakes also has the largest patio in Addison. I’m the marketing manager and one the event coordinators. Is there a particular contact number or email for the person in charge of organizing these events? Thanks
